 Loans can be easily obtained from banks on village houses, the government is bringing this special scheme

If you have a house in the village in your name, it will be easier for you to get a loan from a bank based on it.  There has been a lot of boom in the scheme of giving ownership of residential properties falling under the purview of Gram Panchayats.  There are many states where digital survey of households in villages has now started.

 The scheme was launched on April 24

PM Modi launched the Swamitva Yojana on April 24 on the occasion of Panchayat Raj Day.  The PM had interacted with the sarpanches of the country through video conferencing that day.  During that conversation, he spoke about digital surveys or mapping of villages.  The PM said a digital map of the village would be prepared with the help of drones.  Once this map is ready, a lot of work will become easier and people will also benefit.

 The government will issue property cards

He said that once the digital map of rural India is ready, the owners of residential properties will get property cards from the state governments.  This is a very handy thing.  People can easily take a loan from a bank on the basis of a wealth card.  In addition, this property will also come under the scope of tax.  There is a lot of opposition to it.
